Victor David Brenner Victor David Brenner 1907 Portrait bust of Abraham Lincoln facing right. Source design for the Lincoln Cent. New die was cut from Brenner’s original galvano Lincoln design shown to Roosevelt. This galvano was obtained by Medallic Art in 1930 from Brenner’s estate. Signature Art Medals has an exclusive contract with Medallic Art for the use of this original Brenner design.

Don Everhart Don Everhart 2008 Victor David Brenner creating the Lincoln Cent dies Signature Art Medals commissioned Don Everhart to model a design in tribute to Brenner. Inspired by the famous Brenner quote “My mind was full of Lincoln” made to a reporter during the public frenzy when the Lincoln Cent debuted, Everhart defty interpreted this as an image in Brenner’s mind.
